I thought I’d add my first entry to my blog tonight. It seems only fitting after such an upbeat day.

Today, I was offered the position of Senior Designer for the development team at BBC News Interactive. Its quite simply a dream job for me: using my skills to develop and enhance the most trusted news website in the world. The propect of leaving BBC Radio & Music has been extremely daunting, especially after forming so many great working relationships and gaining some wonderful life-long friends. However, I really feel the time is right for a fresh new challenge to keep my rather overactive imagination ticking over. R&Mi has done wonders for me - I am a credit to the devoted managers and collegues who have fostered my passion over the years. Thank you! You will be sorely missed.
